Hi, I’m Anuja Jalota

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist

BSc(hons), MSc, Dip NT (CNM) mNNA, mGNC, PGCE, NPQH

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 14 years ago and as a result I looked into holistic therapies and the impact of nutrition on the body which was a real eye opener! I gave up my job as a Science teacher/ Assistant principal as my diagnosis of MS re-ignited my passion for alternative therapies and as a result I re-trained as a Nutritional Therapist with the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine to get my Diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition Therapy.

In October 2018 I completed the training for AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice). Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function. The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles and this is what I do during consultation.

brain health programme

"You are what
you eat"

I am also a licensed practitioner to deliver the Cytoplan Brain Health Program. This covers nutritional advise for optimum brain health and how it can improve the following:

brain fog, mood issues, brain ageing, etc.

This is very important as the number of people diagnosed with dementia is on the increase.

Further details can be found on:

I strongly believe that “you are what you eat” your lifestyle affects your health and that prevention is better than a cure!

I do one to one consultation in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, face to face or online to help you address the root cause of your ailment:

If you wish to book in for your consultation, I will send you a health questionnaire, terms and conditions and 7 day food diary that would need to be completed prior to the full consultation. This will give me some indication of your current health and diet. If any tests have been carried out by your GP then a copy of this will be most helpful.

The consultation will last approximately one hour where I will discuss all your body systems with you and establish your main areas of concern.  A personalised diet (not a meal plan) and life-style plan will then be formulated and emailed/posted to you. Diagnostic tests may also be recommended but these are optional and the reason for their recommendation fully explained. Your personalised plan may also include supplement recommendations where my practitioner discount of 10% will be offered.

Tailor-made packages are also available to keep you motivated and on track.
