Hi, I’m Anuja Jalota
Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist
BSc(hons), MSc, Dip NT (CNM) mNNA, mGNC, PGCE, NPQH
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 14 years ago and as a result I looked into holistic therapies and the impact of nutrition on the body which was a real eye opener! I gave up my job as a Science teacher/ Assistant principal as my diagnosis of MS re-ignited my passion for alternative therapies and as a result I re-trained as a Nutritional Therapist with the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine to get my Diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition Therapy.
In October 2018 I completed the training for AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice). Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function. The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles and this is what I do during consultation.
